Character Design and Animation

The animation in Re:Zero is quite good with some nifty visual effects and character designs that basically stand out. The story itself is pretty solid as well and the characters are very likable with a strong sense of personality.

Regardless of the story being easy, it manages to pack within an epic level of action and emotion. There are also some interesting plot twists along the way, but these aren’t the key focus of the story.

It’s also easy to see why it is a massive hit in Japan. The story is quite well-written, the art is great, and the soundtrack is top notch.

Apart from the main story, Re:Zero includes a large variety of different quests and missions which can be completed throughout the span of the game. These can assist you to unlock characters and gain more experience or access to new areas.

Several of those are more difficult and require you to use better weapons, which may be a good thing, but others are only for fun and won’t do much when it comes to helping the story progress. Whatever you decide on to do, you will still have to produce choices throughout the game and the consequences of one’s decisions tend to be felt.
